These terms apply to your use of this website, LauraIgnatowicz.com (“we”, “us”, “our”), and to any order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before purchasing. You can contact us at hello.art.laura@gmail.com.

1. Our products

Our prints and postcards are fine art reproductions, produced to order. Because each item is printed individually, slight variations in colour and tone can occur between screens and printed pieces; these are a natural part of the printing process and are not faults. Product images are for illustration.

2. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include any taxes where stated. We may update prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders already confirmed. Payment is taken at the time of ordering through our secure payment provider. Your order is only confirmed once payment has been received.

3. Orders

After you place an order you’ll receive an acknowledgement by email. This confirms we’ve received your order; a contract between us is formed once we accept it and begin production. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable, there’s an error in the price or description, or payment isn’t completed — and if we do, we’ll refund any amount already paid.

4. Delivery

Each item is made to order and then shipped to the address you provide. Estimated production and delivery times are shown at checkout or in our shipping information; these are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. For orders shipped outside the UK, any import duties, taxes, or customs charges are the recipient’s responsibility.

5. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancelling before printing. Orders are usually sent to print around 6 hours after payment (orders placed at the weekend may not be sent until the start of the following week). If you contact us at hello.art.laura@gmail.com before your order has gone to print, we can cancel it and refund you in full at no cost. The rights below apply in addition to this.

Change of mind. As our standard prints are made to order, please choose carefully. If you change your mind, you may cancel a standard (non-personalised) order within 14 days of receiving it by emailing us at hello.art.laura@gmail.com. You then return the item to us, in its original condition and packaging, within 14 days of telling us. The cost of return postage is your responsibility, and we recommend using a tracked service, as the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us. Once we receive it back in re-saleable condition, we’ll refund the price of the item and the basic outbound delivery charge (not any upgraded delivery you chose) within 14 days. Items made to a custom specification, custom size, or that are clearly personalised cannot be cancelled for change of mind once production has begun.

Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items. If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of delivery — with clear photographs and, where possible, a short video of the parcel being opened. To process a claim, we’ll ask you to return the item to us first; because the item is faulty, we’ll cover the cost of that return (we’ll provide a prepaid label or reimburse your postage). Once we’ve received and inspected the returned item, we’ll arrange a free replacement or a full refund. We ask for the photographs and video so we can confirm the issue arose during production or transit. We reserve the right to decline a claim where we reasonably believe the damage occurred after delivery. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which require goods to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

Customers outside the UK. The same approach applies to all customers wherever you are: change-of-mind returns within 14 days of receipt (with return postage paid by you), and free replacement or refund of items that arrive damaged or faulty once the item has been returned to us. If you are buying from outside the UK you may also have rights under the consumer laws of your own country, which can vary and which these terms do not remove. For any return, please contact us first so we can confirm the correct return address — please do not return items to the sender shown on the parcel.

6. Intellectual property

All images, designs, and content on this site are owned by us and protected by copyright. When you buy a print, you’re buying the physical item for personal display only. You do not acquire any copyright or reproduction rights, and the work may not be copied, resold, or used commercially without our written permission.

7. Use of the website

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy its content for commercial use. We aim to keep the site available and accurate but can’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw products and content at any time.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we’re not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for losses unrelated to our supply of the goods. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Scotland.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place it. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.
